An iPhone Amplifier Blown from a Single Piece of Glass

There are various ways to amplify the sound of your iPhone, but we can say we’ve never seen anything like this iPhone amplifier made from one piece of glass. Your friends won’t even know what hit them when they walk into your house and they see your iPhone levitating on the coffee table. Well, not literally levitating but you get the drift. Named “My iPhone Amp,” it’s designed and made by Aric Snee who aims to combine the spirit of modernism with the centuries old tradition of glass blowing. Each one is handcrafted individually by Snee, who teaches Neon and light based sculpture at Ball University. In other words, you don’t have to worry about a damn thing.

iPhone 5 Cases With Typography Portraits of Pop-Icons

Everybody prefers something different and that’s exactly what we’re witnessing with Casetagram’s collaboration efforts with artist Sean Williams. Best known for creating portraits of celebrities using the lyrics from pop songs or by subject, Williams partnered with Casetagram to release a Typography Portraits series consisting of the most iconic pop-culture icons of our generation. Through the Phone by Sam Alive

Finding new ways to utilize photography through an iPhone and DSLR comes to us from Sam Alive’s tumblr page and a 2 year project in the making: Through the Phone. His love for blurry backdrops and crisp scenery have made for eye-catching photography unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. We’ll admit that we have some kind of weakness when it comes to any kind of landscape photography, so finding this project kind-of, actually made our day. Even though I’ve stuck with Apple devices throughout my life, there are still some things that Android devices have that I’d like to see on my iPhone or iPad. Luckily for us there are great inventors out there inventing things like the iQi Wireless Charger for your iPhone. It starts off with a paper-thin, credit card-sized wireless charging receiver that plugs into your iPhone’s Thunder port and is so thin it gracefully sits between your phone and any case. Integrating more light at night into a photo never hurts, especially for the avid smartphone photographers or just the average photo-taker trying to get a crisp shot. A new iPhone gadget called Lightstrap is helping people accomplish that by merging a light and phone case together.
