Most of you have probably heard of or have seen CXXVI via our blog or others. Have you ever wondered where that unique typography was coming from or who it could possibly be coming from, because we have. Jon Contino is the man behind the design and with the video above he gives us a little sneak peek inside the process and what drives him to keep doing what he does. Shot in his Brooklyn-based apartment see the work he’s done for CXXVI along with many other works he has accomplished, so far. An interesting watch to say the least. Check it above.

CXXVI Spring 2012 Collection

One of our favorite East Coast brands CXXVI is back and they present us with an array of items for their Spring 2012 Collection. The collection consists mostly of the signature graphic tees and tank tops that have made the CXXVI brand so popular along with caps and several accessories such as pocket knives, flasks, necklaces and more. The line is now available through their online shop.

CXXVI Holiday 2011 Ties

Here comes a nice offering of slim ties from all American brand CXXVI. Offered in 4 different color ways, these ties utilize the chambray look with Japanese fabric giving the tie depth and texture. The ties are constructed by hand at family owned factory in Chicago and are of a limited run. Each piece comes in a hand numbered satchel so be sure to get suited before it’s to late.

CXXVI Fall 2011 Lookbook

New York brand CXXVI brings us their Fall 2011 lookbook and yes it’s another American classic. The line ranges from hoodies, shirts, bags, t-shirts, accessories and much more. The attention to detail plus the custom looks that they have added to the actual clothing make the line one of our Fall 2011 FAVORITES! For a brand that hasn’t been around long CXXVI has really been pushing the envelope with releasing a premium line ‘Barnaby Black’. With limited runs on all of their product we think it keeps the brand classic and true to its roots. CXXVI is definitely leaving it’s mark on fashion and we look forward to more future classics.

Beginning to be one of our favorites, especially after that iPhone wallet. CXXVI has released their lookbook for the upcoming Summer 2011 season. Based out of New York, we like how this All-American brand has the vintage look and feel to their t-shirt’s as well as the inspiration behind the graphics printed on them. An authentic and original brand, we think that CXXVI can have a major influence on the American manufacturing and apparel markets of today. ( Strong statement- we know, but check back on this post in the future and maybe I will be right).
