AirHelp

AirHelp-App-00

If you’ve ever been duped, or felt like you’ve been duped by an airline you’re probably not alone. In fact, it’s obvious the creators of AirHelp have had their share of flight miscommunications, so they sought out a way that caters to the oh-so-lonesome consumer. Having already been launched in Europe one year ago, they’ve claimed to have already helped tens of thousands of passengers and now the USA can join in on the action. Simply send your flight details through the app, sit back and relax while they handle all of the paperwork and when the claim is successful you get the money sent straight to your bank account. There is a 25% fee paid to AirHelp for doing all of the work, but hey, you didn’t do anything.

Samplify App

Samplify-App-00

You probably notice that we favor iOS over Android, we decided to switch it up a bit and make you aware of an Android-only app called Samplify. This newly released app works in a Shazaam like way by identifying the song with a “tap to listen” button and in turn delivers artist information along with the song name. However, it doesn’t stop there. If the song contains a sample(s), it will identify the artist and song name in which the sample originated from. It will then provide a YouTube link so you can get the full effect of the original song. The company is taking requests to get an iOS app built, so if you aren’t an Android person, but want this app, we suggest you put in your request.

Google Nexus 5

Google-Nexus-5-00

Putting all the rumors and speculation to rest is the newly released LG-made Google Nexus 5. Boasting the latest version of Android 4.4 (KitKat), the Nexus 5 runs on a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU with 16 or 32gb of storage space and 2GB of RAM. The 5-inch, 1080p display showcases photos and video to a crisp standard, while the 8MP camera and Optical Image Stabilization helps out with that effort too. It also comes with a wireless charging battery – something that the die-hard Apple fans secretly despise of Android phones. There are also several other software features that are sure to amaze the newest smartphone user, and if you like what you see the smartphone is available now through the Google Play store and specific retailers worldwide.

NVIDIA Shield

NVIDIA-Sheild-00

Yesterday, I was told by my fellow Android users that I favor iOS products over Android. I said, “You know what, I think I do too.” With that, I have been lead to the NVIDIA Shield and I’m pretty damn impressed. Operating on the latest Android Jelly Bean OS, this nifty gadget combines high-performance gaming with portable entertainment. It features a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of flash memory, a 5-inch multi-touch display, and built-in speakers. You can access a catalog of games through Google Play or you can even stream them straight from your PC to your console via WiFi connectivity. Games are limited but we’re sure you’ll find one that you can’t get your hands off of.
