Four months of traveling, hiking and sleeping in New Zealand by Martin Heck’s Timestorm Films ends up in this impressive 4K time-lapse video. You’ll get to see the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand and once it starts you definitely won’t want it to stop. Check it after the jump.
When used correctly, tilt-shift photography can trump big cities, or any big thing for that matter and make them look as if they are merely small models of themselves. This tilt-shift film showcasing the stunning landscapes (we didn’t no existed) of Sydney does it perfectly. Using a Canon 5DIII and 7D, motion time-lapse photographer Filippo Rivetti chilled on the roof of the Four Seasons Hotel where he was able to capture the breath-taking views of Port Jackson harbor. During post-production he messed with the depth of field and ended up with the beauty above.

Titled “Blink of Time” this time-lapse video was shot by GOTM Films as they capture a rare solar eclipse, beautiful cloud structure, topping it off with beautiful camera movement through caves and crevices. Time lapse videos can take up a lot of time and plenty of digital memory, as this one took 80,000 photos and a span of seven weeks. But hey, that’s the price you pay to capture this crisp and almost surreal landscape. The video above will do it’s justice – trust us.

Capturing the City of Angels with a Canon 5D Mark II, the concept was to bring us the transition from day-to-night from spectacular and hard to find view points in the city. Scored with a french song the lyrics translate: “I can barely see nature when suddenly, night falls. I am engulfed by a world of silence, yet I am not afraid. I fall asleep for a few minutes at the most, and when I wake up, the sun is there and the forest is shining with a bright light.” That sounds about right to us so check it above!

We have posted time-lapse video of cities in the past but never has Paris, France been one of them. Professional photographer and time-lapse specialist Mayeul Akpovi has kindly provided us with this visual stimulation titled “Paris In Motion”. The time-lapse was shot on multiple cameras with a wide range of lenses – providing us with clear and crisp shots of France’s capital from day-to-night. Although time-lapse is becoming a lot more common, we see something unique aspect as Mayeul provides us with a moving/walking effect along with 360° views around an object.
