STYLEWISE: Apolis Co-Op Resort Sandal

Originality at it’s finest has graced our Stylewise segment today. Global citizen brand Apolis has started a great project known as the Global Marketplace. The marketplace focuses on mastered product from different countries around the world. All are very interesting, giving us background and history on why and where the item was made. For today’s segment we chose the Israel Project which produced the Co-Op Resort Sandal. Made in Israel by a four person co-op, each sandal is made of beautiful Italian leather and produced by hand. We recommend you read about each project as all are very unique in their own right. ($106)

STYLEWISE: Port Long Beach Sport Duffel

Long Beach based Port, is the subject of this week’s Stylewise segment. For a small boutique store located in Long Beach, CA we see a great structure developing from their foundation. A nice, clean logo that delivers the concept of the name perfectly, stands out as they utilize it several times throughout their product. Recently they released the Sport Duffel in two colorways – navy and tan. The duffel bag is made up of a heavy-duty cotton canvas and features leather trim along with leather labeling with their logo embossed atop.

STYLEWISE: New Era New York Yankees Snake Visor Caps

With the New York Yankees sitting in first place out of the entire MLB, we thought this would be great for our STYLEWISE segment. Being brought to us courtesy of New Era Japan are the new snake-skin visor New York Yankee caps. STYLEWISE: Profound Aesthetic Ballers League Varsity Cardigan

We welcome back our STYLEWISE segment with Profund Aesthetic’s new Ballers League Varsity Cardigan. One of our favorite brands graphically they have come with several new designs and they are nothing short of mind-boggling. Some of our favorites are “Relativity” with a new Albert Einstein design and the “Sci-Fi” tee (pictured above) comes with a design that a psychologist can’t even evaluate. STYLEWISE: Dockers Camo Alpha Khaki Pant

For those of you who don’t frequent the blog. Last week we unveiled a new segment called SPOTLIGHT. Well we decided to drop that name altogether and call it STYLEWISE . We also decided that instead of just shirts and t-shirts, that all stand-out pieces like denim, jackets, accessories etc. Will all have a chance to make it onto our STYLEWISE segment. 

For today’s STYLWISE segment we chose the Dockers Camo Alpha Khaki Pant. With camo being the shit right now we browsed numerous camo pants but found this pair the most appealing. The fit is proper and not to slim and the new heavyweight khaki fabric gives the pants a unique texture. ($65)

STYLEWISE: Gitman Vintage – Native Horizontal Stripe Shirt

Today we are introducing our SPOTLIGHT segment for the first time. It will consist of a shirt or t-shirt (that is available for purchase now) every week that catches our eye and backs originality and concept.  Today we start off with a Gitman Vintage Native stripe shirt from their 2012 spring/summer collection. The shirt is made from Japanese cotton and boasts the Japanese style-horizontal stripes. ($215)
