I would’ve never imagined I’d want a dumpster in my house. Dumpsty is changing all of that for me, but don’t worry it’s not some smelly dumpster off the streets of New York City. These are tiny replicas of a street artists canvas, 11″x10″x8″ to be exact, and for some odd reason they’re bad ass. Available in Raw, Fresh, Bombed, Painted, and Limited Editions it can be used as a document holder, magazine holder, and of course – a trash can. If you come up with a better idea then by all means let us know. Customize the dumpsters with different color lids and authentic dumpster warning sign stickers scaled down just for Dumpsty. If you consider yourself an “artist” then we suggest you pick up the Raw version and bomb it yourself.

City as Canvas
Growing up I was the kid to notice the graffiti on the walls of my hometown. I would always try to decipher what the hell it said and I became fascinated with the concept of thinking that it obviously said something, but only certain individuals really knew exactly what it meant. Showcasing the birth of graffiti and street art, City as Canvas takes you through New York City in the late ’70s and ’80s and chronicles the chapter that started it all. The book contains Martin Wong’s enormous graffiti art collection, along with artwork, photographs, black books, letters, postcards, posters, and flyers made by Wong and his artist friends. Previously unpublished art by famous street artists such as Futura 2000, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Christopher “Daze” Ellis, and Keith Haring should also keep you occupied on that lazy Sunday.

The Cans III Print
If you too are going nuts for the street art and graffiti craze (like us) then you should pick up the The Cans III print created by Los Angeles-based graffiti artist Roger Gastman. He manages to capture the brilliance that is branding and packaging with the tools that he uses to write his graffiti. The spray cans are straight from Gastman’s personal collection; a collection that catches every one of his house guests in aw. This is the 3rd print out of his “Tools of Criminal Mischief” series – it comes signed, numbered, with a certificate of authentication, and is an exclusive print to 1xRun.

Mr. Brainwash Spray Can
Adding that perfect piece to your art collection or perhaps your “Art in the Streets” collection can result in tempers flaring and bottles flying. Okay, probably not that far, but you get the point. Mr. Brainwash may have that perfect piece for you with his new Mr. Brainwash Spray Can. No you can’t go bomb walls with it or any of that good stuff, but you can display it nicely with the rest of your over priced art collection. The spray can graphic portrays a soup can, obviously grabbing some inspiration from the leading figure of pop art, Andy Warhol. Each can is hand finished with spray paint, signed, thumb printed, numbered and dated by the artist. If you feel like going real big, purchasing the full set will receive the same edition number for each can. Pick up the special edition spray can in 10 different colors plus two very limited colors.
