A couple of weeks ago we had the opportunity to go check out SOJA at House of Blues San Diego. It was a nice drunken’ Sunday evening and the seats we had were clutch. Right next to Vincent Jackson, former SD Charger who happened to get traded the next day to Tampa Bay. All in all it was a good performance and we hope to catch them again soon.

One of our favorite reggae bands SOJA has just released a stream of their new album via the popular music site Soundcloud. Entitled ‘Strength To Survive’ each song has an intro by the lead singer Jacob Hemphill sharing the inspirations and stories behind every song. New sounds are coming out of the rock/reggae camp Rebelution and the vibes is irie mayne. This is the second single off of the their new album Peace of Mind set to release January 10, 2012. Not only will they be releasing one CD but they will release THREE! The first is the actual LP, second being the whole album stripped down acoustic, and a dub version of the album remixed by Michael from Easy Star All Stars .We didn’t post their first single titles “Sky Is The Limit” so we have that one for you as well. Both tracks have a nice sound and of course the signature Rebelution vocals. Their second single “Meant To Be” features Jacob Hemphill of SOJA (Soldiers of Jah Army).
