iPhone 5S

Apple iPhone 5S -00

Every blog, magazine and newspaper has been anticipating the release of the new iPhone 5S, but no one has been waiting for it longer than us – the consumer. It’s always an interesting ride when Apple releases a brand new iPhone, after all they changed the smartphone game as we know it, and with the all new iPhone 5S, I think they’ve done it again. They instantly changed the mobile world today with the first ever A7 chip, 64-bit smartphone. This kind of technology makes your mobile phone 2x faster than previous generation CPU’s, and handles graphics up to 2x faster. Along with the A7 chip we get the M7 chip that works alongside of it and they’ve dubbed it a ‘motion processor’. It continuously measure motion data and enables a whole new generation of health and fitness apps.

With the outer shell obtaining its cosmetics, that shouldn’t really matter to the diehards out there because the sensored 8MP camera anxiously awaits to take your photos, along with the dual LED flash that puts out one white and one amber light. Their video has advanced with the all new SloMo app that lets you shoot HD video at 120 frames per second while still obtaining the highest quality video out there.

Last but not least, the new integrated fingerprint scanner is what everyone has been anxiously awaiting. TouchID is the name, and it’s definitely ahead of the game as it reads your fingerprint through the home button at an unbelievably detailed level. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor is capacitive, 170 microns thin, has a 500 ppi resolution, scans sub-epidermal skin layers, and has 360 degree readability, meaning no matter how you train the sensor to read your finger, it can read it from any rotation. Simply touch the home button to unlock your phone or purchase music on iTunes and don’t worry about security, because the fingerprint data is encrypted and locked in the A7 chip. It’s never directly accessible by software, and is not stored on Apple’s servers or backed up to iCloud.

The new iPhone 5S will be available in gold, white or graphite and will be $199 for the 16GB model, $299 for 32GB, and $399 for 64GB on a 2 year contract. Pre-orders begin September 13 and it will ship on September 20.

LG G2 Smartphone

LG-G2-Smartphone-00

With the smartphone game heating up, the LG G2 Smartphone is stepping in to alter it a bit by placing buttons on the back of the device. We did the same thing you did right now and extended our hand out like we were holding a phone, just to see if it is more convenient. Well, after doing so we came to the quick conclusion that this would lead to more control over the phone, making it less likely you’d drop it. Along with that nifty little feature, they’ve also added a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5.2-inch full-HD display and internally laced it with a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
