The VYSK Q1 Phone Case Protects Your Privacy

vysk-privacy-phone-case-00

Thanks to Snowden putting the NSA on blast, people are way more concerned about their privacy then ever before. This year at CES we were introduced to the Blackphone, specifically made to keep everything you do on your mobile phone private. However, if you aren’t in the market for a new phone, but are still weary about who’s listening in on your phone calls and peeping your texts, the VYSK Q1 Privacy Case is the route you should be taking. With the flick of a switch, the QS1 instantly shuts down the device’s microphone and encrypts communications through a VoIP connection. This leads to securing your voice, text and photo transmissions and mesh’s well with your phone to protect it and can even provide extra battery life. It’s now available for pre-order covering the iPhone 5/5s and the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5. [More HERE]

YotaPhone

YotaPhone-01

Sorry to make my fellow Americans envy some of our fellow countries, but the all new YotaPhone is just way too groundbreaking to pass up. Most Americans likely don’t even know about this phone, but some are saying that this could actually be the biggest innovation since the beginning of the iPhone. I’m not sure if I can agree with that, but I do know that Russian smartphone manufacturer Yota is onto something. The new YotaPhone is a mix of two devices rolled up into one: on the primary side an LTE Android phone with a 4.3-inch LCD display, and on the other side an electronic paper display (EPD). The new smartphone runs on Android Jelly Bean, while boasting 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera. and a battery that lasts up to 85-hours. It’ll be available in 20 countries in the first quarter of 2014 and will be sold for about $675 in Europe and for $600 in Russia.

Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung-Galaxy-S5-00

Since the release of smartphone’s is the norm these days, the Samsung Galaxy S5 was so expected that it wasn’t even exciting. Okay, maybe it was. Coinciding with their Gear Fit and Gear 2 smartwatch, the fifth generation of the Galaxy S still remains the top competitor to the iPhone. The all new smartphone boasts a 5.1 inch display, 16MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera, while a 2.5GHz Quad core processor, 2 GB of ram and Android 4.4.2 KitKat all make this baby run like a charm. Standout features include  Selective Focus (which allows users to focus on a specific area of an object while simultaneously blurring out the background) and Download Booster, an innovative Wi-Fi technology for boosting data speed by bonding Wi-Fi and LTE simultaneously. Putting up to par with the iPhone is the fingerprint scanner, providing a screen locking feature and safe mobile payment experience. Look for the Galaxy S5 to drop in April.

Out of everything we encounter throughout the day our phone is probably the most touched out of everything. It’s the first and only cellphone charger to both clean and charge your phone at the same time. With built-in UV-C lights that are said to kill off bacteria, viruses and SuperBugs (whatever that is) – it only takes 4 minutes to rid your device of those nasty germs.
