Sunglasses Made from Louisville Sluggers

Baseball season is underway, which means opening day, hot dogs and a whole lot of booze. Shwood also wanted to get in on the action of opening day, so they teamed up with Louisville, KY’s Hillerich & Bradsbury Co. to bring you a collection of sunglasses made from Louisville Sluggers. Limited to a certain number, the Canby and Haystack-styles from Shwood were worthy enough to obtain the Louisville treatment. They even take inspiration from paint-dripped bats by adding a two-tone black and white lacquered paint job, while each pair of Shwood for Louisville Slugger Original Collection is flame-tempered for added strength and a unique woodgrain aesthetic in which Slugger finishes their bats. You’ll receive your OG sunglasses in pretty packaging along with a branded bat, custom trading cards, branded pouch and a leather carrying case. You’ll pretty much be good to go.

Shwood Stone Collection

Purveyors of all things wood, Shwood sunglasses is innovating the sunglasses game with their latest Shwood Stone Collection. Consisting of two styles – the Canby Stone and Belmont Stone – these sunglasses fuse genuine slate with premium Birch wood. You might think these are going to be a little to heavy for your dome piece, but Shwood teamed up with a German engineering firm to develop a method of cutting the slate just a millimeter thick, making them light and comfortable. You can pick up these experimental frames in a white or black slate with the usual Carl Zeiss polarized lenses. The run is limited to 200 pairs, so get on it quick.
