One of our favorite reggae bands SOJA has just released a stream of their new album via the popular music site Soundcloud. Entitled ‘Strength To Survive’ each song has an intro by the lead singer Jacob Hemphill sharing the inspirations and stories behind every song. If you like this album we suggest you pick up some of their older albums as well – you will definitely enjoy.

New sounds are coming out of the rock/reggae camp Rebelution and the vibes is irie mayne. This is the second single off of the their new album Peace of Mind set to release January 10, 2012. Not only will they be releasing one CD but they will release THREE! The first is the actual LP, second being the whole album stripped down acoustic, and a dub version of the album remixed by Michael from Easy Star All Stars .We didn’t post their first single titles “Sky Is The Limit” so we have that one for you as well. Both tracks have a nice sound and of course the signature Rebelution vocals. Their second single “Meant To Be” features Jacob Hemphill of SOJA (Soldiers of Jah Army).

Here on the West Coast reggae is the music we have grown to love. One of our favorites is definitely Tribal Seeds. If you haven’t heard of them, than I suggest you do it quickly. Below is a link to their newest song ‘Soundwaves’ set to release on their new EP also entitled ‘Soundwaves’.
