LifeStraw Go
If you remember the LifeStraw then you’ll love the LifeStraw Go. It integrates their water purification system into a BPA-free, refillable water bottle for safe, clean drinking water. The system removes 99.9999 percent of all bacteria and 99.9 percent of protozoan parasites that can contaminate water. This makes short hikes, long hikes, camping trips and getting lost out in the woods a little safer and less worrisome (let’s hope you don’t get lost.) And for each LifeStraw water filter purchased, one school child in Africa will receive clean drinking water for an entire school year, making this the perfect purchase.

Storm Chasing Photography by Mike Hollingshead
Storm chasing is something I’m not sure I’d have the balls to do, but according to this storm chasing photography, Severe Skies: The Photography of Storm Chaser Mike Hollingshead, it looks pretty damn fun. These other-worldly photos capture the essence of storm chasing and just how dangerous it can be. Hollingshead has been chasing storms since the late 90’s, racking up about 20,000 miles a year on his car doing it. These photos are too amazing not to share, so check a few of them out below and think twice before you say to yourself, “I can do this!”

Zerohour Tactical Flashlight
We’ve made our smartphones and tablets a priority in our lives, but unfortunately the batteries wear down and tend not to last throughout the night – especially since you’re constantly checking your phone. If for some reason you tend to carry a flashlight with you at all times, then the ZEROHOUR Tactical Flashlight is the one you should be carrying. Not only does it achieve a maximum 1,000 lumen output, it can be transformed into a sleek and compact battery backup with 10,000mAh of power, which in turn is enough to charge multiple USB devices. Last but not least, the flashlight triples as a case so you can store matches, keys, lighters, money, fishing line, and other small items.

Poler Camera Cooler Bag
Packing smart and traveling light is something most of us strive for when going on an adventure, and when we found out the Poler Camera Cooler Bag had a dual purpose, we couldn’t resist. When you’re out on your adventure, you can use this puppy as a camera bag by utilizing the included padded dividers that can hold a DSLR, a lens and other small accessories. Of course, our favorite part of the whole deal is that it doubles as a cooler bag big enough to hold a six pack of your favorite beer and a couple of ice packs to keep them cool. It also features side pockets that fit an iPhone and an iPad perfectly and the 3 way strap system ensures it stays in one place no matter the activity. A good thing to know, this bag is not waterproof or watertight, so don’t use it with electronics and liquids or food at the same time.

AquaBotix
We like exploring, but preferably on land. Sure, we’re interested in what the ocean has to offer, but there’s just something about the lack of control you have while under water that doesn’t get us too enthused. However, we think AquaBotix just solved many of our issues. The HydroView Remote Controlled Underwater Vehicle records video and shoots HD photos, all while you keep dry and stay out of harms way. Control the underwater vehicle with your iPad or laptop while also streaming a live video feed thanks to the included Topside box which generates its own Wi-Fi. It also comes complete with LED lights, an HD camera, standard 75 foot cable and a waterproof carrying case. It’s just up to you on what to use it for.
