Symmetric Light Photography

symmetric-light-photography-02

Almost similar to a project we posted earlier this week, Sinichi Higashi’s Symmetric Light Photography are photos you can truly call a work of art. By using Tokyo’s cityscape and a bit of clever editing, Higashi captures the dense traffic of Tokyo’s highways and the results are symmetric extended exposure photos. Check the full series after the jump.

Thermodo Is the Perfect Weather Companion

Thermodo-weather-gadget-01

One year ago, Thermodo annihilated their Kickstarter goal by percentile’s you couldn’t even imagine. Just going to their beautiful website makes you want to buy this thing right off the bat. There are two versions of the tiny little weather-telling gadget; Thermodo and the Thermodo Premium. Both are made from aluminum, but the premium uses a higher grade in anodized aluminum. Simply plug this key chain-sized device into the auxiliary jack of your iPhone or Android phone and let the coinciding apps help you with your weather measuring needs, while third-party apps like Shade, Hub and Temperatus add-on to the fun. Future meteorologists are drooling from the mouth right now.

Dub Box USA

Dub-Box-USA-00

Your road trips will never be the same if you decide to purchase a trailer from Dub Box USA. It might look like the Oregon-based manufacturer has an unlimited supply of VW vans, but that’s where we are looking at it completely wrong. They actually mold the campers and carts from completely new fiberglass shells and the design process is left completely up to you. There are several options you can choose from to complete your Dub Box just the way you want it. If this catches your eye (which we know it does so don’t lie) then you definitely need to take a look at what they have to offer.

MOLA Headlamp

MOLA-Headlamp-Snow-Peak-00

I like to think that I’m the outdoorsy type of person and that I really, really need this MOLA Headlamp by Snow Peak. In all reality I probably don’t need it at all, but you just never know when the power might go out, right?! Wrong. This lamp is actually for the real outdoorsy type of person who is brave enough to take on their adventure in sheer darkness. It features a high powered LED lamp that follows the angle of your eyes as you look up and down, which eliminates the need for odd-looking hinges. For running on two AAA batteries, the run time of 45 hours on high is not bad at all.

Endémico

endemico-hotel-baja-california-00

Luxurious camping is a term we hardly ever hear, but to us Endémico fits the bill perfectly. The rooms may not be the biggest we’ve seen, but they certainly get the job done. Each one of the 20 luxurious cabins is set atop a hill overlooking the Valle de Guadalupe wine region in Baja California, Mexico. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of your city life, this is the perfect place to do it because the hotel amenities will give you very little reason to leave (along with that view). Enjoy the on-site pool, restaurant, and bar at your own leisure – all being just a short drive away from our home city San Diego, CA. Need we say more?

Easybreath Snorkeling Mask

easybreathe-snorkeling-mask-00

I’ve done some snorkeling in my day and let me tell you I suck at it. If I had an Easybreath Snorkeling Mask, then thing’s most likely would’ve been different. Since breathing through your mouth isn’t normal the concept of this mask is perfect. The mask is designed so that you’re able to breath out of your nose and mouth while underwater, just as naturally as you would on land. Take in all that the bottom of the ocean has to offer without getting water in your mouth thanks to a dry-top system on the top that plugs the air intake when immersed and a technology that prevents your mask from fogging up.
