With the New York Yankees sitting in first place out of the entire MLB, we thought this would be great for our STYLEWISE segment. Being brought to us courtesy of New Era Japan are the new snake-skin visor New York Yankee caps. Coming in red, black and traditional all contain a slightly different skin on the caps visor and strap. The cap is now available for purchase at New Era Japan. ¥5,670 JPY (approximately $71 USD).
New Era has produced a limited edition Derek Jeter 3K fitted for the first Yankee to reach 3,000 hits. Featuring the traditional New York Yankee logo on the front, the cap is decorated with a special commemorative 3,000 hit patch on the side and silver color hit on the MLB logo, as opposed to the traditional red. The changes aren’t much but it will be a great collector piece.
Today we get a peek into Primitive’s Fall 2011 New Era collection. Primitive focuses on the same design approach as we have seen in the past. As it focuses on nice color schemes and simple but classic styles – this season includes the use of velvet flocking atop traditional embroidery on the “CA” caps and Primitive logo caps. Look for these through Primitive in the coming weeks.
