The YEEZUS Tour

Yes, you’re reading this correctly. Two of the biggest rap artists of our time are getting set to hit the stage together for the YEEZUS Tour starting this fall. Breakout artist Kendrick Lamar will be opening up for legend-in-the-making, Kanye West. Kanye’s first solo tour in five years is set to kick-off in Seattle, WA on 10/19/2013 and will continue through various cities including Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Brooklyn, while concluding the tour in Houston, TX. Kendrick will be on most of the dates, and special guests (TBA) will also be included on a few of the stops. Tickets have already gone on-sale for some cities, while the rest of the cities are set to go on-sale this Friday – 9/13/2013. With this being one being one of the biggest tours of the year, without a doubt you’ll be finding us at the Los Angeles show, and we’ll give you the best advice of – DO NOT MISS THIS CONCERT.

Kendrick Lamar – "B***h Don't Kill My Vibe" Ft. Jay-Z (REMIX)

Here it is! The teaser from GURU at SXSW left us wanting more and we got it. A collaboration to be highly recognized this year and one we’ve all been anticipating is that of Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z. The two emcees get together for a remix of Kendrick’s “B***h, Don’t Kill My Vibe” and with remixes usually killing my vibe, this one definitely doesn’t do that. Yes, we know it’s not the greatest picture, but the performance had my head bobbing and hands in the air, so we had to share a little bit of something with you. If you haven’t seen this kid live we suggest you do while he is still performing in smaller venues because after his new album good kid, m.A.A.d city drops – it’s over. Kendrick Lamar – Swimming Pools (Drank)

We are always anticipating new music from Kendrick Lamar and not many artist have us on the anticipation level that Kendrick does. Released a few days ago, “Swimming Pools (Drank)” is the “debut” single off of his major label debut album good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Produced by T-Minus the track is dark but it seems to set the mood for Kendrick to release his inner thoughts through third person. His new album is set for a release date of October 2, and is one album that we can’t wait to get our hands on.

Ab Soul Feat. Kendrick Lamar – ILLuminate

A nifty little track here from Ab-Soul Featuring Kendrick Lamar. lLLuminate offers a soft, smooth melody with a heavy-set, hit-hard beat. With the artists above you already know the flows on top of it are going to be fire. Ab-Soul’s Control System drops this Friday May 11th, so don’t sleep on it.

Kendrick Lamar – The Recipe Feat. Dr. Dre

Here comes the latest single from the Kendrick Lamar camp and it features none other than Dr.Dre. This is Kendrick’s latest single from his debut album with Aftermath/Interscope Records. The track features a rare verse from Dr. Dre and is produced by Scoop Deville. It will be available on iTunes later tonight but in the mean time check it out above.

The Game Feat. Kendrick Lamar – The City

A brand new track that has been subbin’ in the office for the past few days and now there is a video to go with it. The Game teams up with the future of  West Coast hip-hop Kendrick Lamar to bring you a possible track of the year entitled ‘The City’. I guess you will have to wait until December to find out if it makes our list. In the mean time enjoy the video above.
