We have finally approached Friday and damn it feels good. Some of us will get off of work, hit happy hour, get home by 9:00 and call it a night. Some of us younger folk will get off work, hit BevMo, pick us up a lovely bottle (or two) and party until the sun comes up. Either way we are getting toasted. When this Jack Daniel’s Unaged Rye Whiskey hits the shelves your nights will probably be cut a bit shorter. But hey, who said that was ever a problem? Using a brand new recipe, which hasn’t been done in over 100 years at JD, this modern moonshine is a 70% rye/18% corn/12% malted barley mashbill that sits on 80-proof. Unfortunately you have to wait until December/January to pick it up, but it will be well worth the wait when this baby is keeping you warm.
