Documenting your life has certainly become less of a hassle thanks to our dependency on the digital world. But, nothing is making it easier than the new Kennedy app for your iPhone. Derived from the question, “Where were you when Kennedy was shot?”, the creators wanted to take it to another level by letting you document your everyday life. With a simple tap of your screen, Kennedy will capture “layers” of a moment by including location, date, time, weather conditions and latest news headlines together with the music you were listening to at that particular moment. It’s then archived by the day, leaving behind a time capsule of sort of your day-by-day life.

Mynd Calendar App
We’ve discovered that having a calendar app is crucial to our daily, weekly and monthly routines. That boring stock calendar app isn’t the most exciting thing to look at so we’ve turned to the Mynd calendar app for our scheduling needs. What makes it extra great is that it works together with your existing calendar apps and contacts. It also features a unique home screen that gives a summary of your day, with photos, weather, and stats on how you spend your time, integration with the most popular navigation apps to calculate drive times and alert you when you need to leave so you won’t hit traffic on your next route. If you do happen to hit traffic on the way to your next meeting, no need to worry, all you have to do is hit the “late” button and it will notify your colleagues of your tardiness.

MAKING By Nike
If you are a designer at heart (just like us) then you should get your grubby little hands on the new MAKING app from Nike. If you want to go behind the scenes and gain knowledge from the designers that push the limit at Nike, then this is the app for you. Fueled by the seven-year creation in the Nike Materials Sustainability Index you’ll be able to look at the criteria they use while designing shoes, clothes, and other Nike gear. You’ll basically be breaking it down to a science by ranking them based on four key impact areas: Chemistry, Energy/Greenhouse Gas Intensity, Water/Land Intensity, and Physical Waste. Now if you can wrap your head around that, we give you props. After you download the app just think of it as saving the world one material at a time.

Bondsy App
We’ve definitely seen our share of apps that let you sell things. With the Bondsy app though, money isn’t part of the equation. Letting you TRADE things like products, perishable items, opportunities, handmade goods, skills, experiences and favors, it’s pretty much an infinite “thing.” What sets it apart from other apps is the “friend only” based network of trading. You simply snap a photo, write a story and add price tags. Pride tags? Get that concerned look off your face as they are freeform, so you can ask for anything in return and when you want something, tap ‘Grab’ and make an offer. If you see something you like but don’t really need it, share it through your network with someone who might be interested so you can help a brotha out. As the pilgrims always said “trade wisely.” Actually, I don’t know if they really said that but it sounds pretty damn good.

Field Trip App
If traveling the world is on your bucket list then you might need to download the Field Trip app. While out exploring your destination, that you know nothing about, you might miss a few really interesting things here and there. Well, this app won’t let you miss a step. Sold iPhone App
We can all shy away from high-end items, but in the end we’d all like to get our grubby little hands on them. With everything evolving at such a fast rate, people are also buying these valuable items at the same pace thus leaving them with spare and unused gear. Well, the Sold iPhone app is here to help you get rid of that first generation iPad, last year’s sunglasses and those Mac Books you’ve been stackin’ up over the years. The concept is simple. Snap a few photos, submit it to Sold, wait for approval and BAM! Sold will take care of your pricing, selling and closing of all deals. All you have to do is wait for the addressed shipping box (that they send you), ship your item and your paid son!

If you haven’t heard of Marcus Troy then you don’t read enough #menswear blogs. Nah, just kidding. The whole objective of the app is simple – post a picture of your kicks while on a plane, or you can just say you’re on a plane but your really sitting in your cubicle at work. Either way, the point is strictly KICKS. So, if you are a sneaker head that wears a different pair everyday, Kicks on a Plane is that place to flaunt your oh so stylish ways. Hater App
If you’ve been looking for the “Dislike” button on Facebook or Instagram – keep looking. There’s no need to get your hopes down, because the new social media app ‘Hater’ allows users to share everything they don’t like. “It’s basically like Instagram for everything you hate.” says Jake Banks, Hater’s CEO. ‘Hater’ offers users a personal stream for uploading or taking photos of things they dislike. Images may then be shared with the larger ‘Hater’ community, where they can be viewed by others for comments and feedback. This new social media app isn’t here to spread negativity by any means, “You might hate something so much you want to change it, which is the complete opposite of what happens when you ‘Like’ something.” ‘Hater’ is available now as a free iOS app, with plans for an Android launch in the near future. I can just see it now, every comment will be #ThatsThatShitIDon’tLike.

Kickstarter iPhone App
Crowdfunding site Kickstarter has just made it easier to contribute to your favorite project. They have recently rolled out their Kickstarter iPhone App which we predict will change the pace of a project and skyrocket it to its goal. Users of the app can browse projects by category such as music, food, art, technology or games. You can pledge to projects from within the app, then follow their progress, including updates the creators may have for you. The app will also play videos and utilize location services to highlight projects that happen to be nearby. An effective way to start off an app.
