Wrangler Mileage App
Everybody has their own take on being the “adventurous type”, but if you’re the kind that sporadically hops in the car and starts driving with no destination, then downloading the Wrangler Mileage app is a must. The new app is able to track your movements by running silently in the background of your phone. By doing so, it turns the world around you into an unlockable grid, helping you discover new areas on your map as you travel. Each grid space is color-coded to represent the area’s type of terrain, and can also calculate your distance, weather conditions, altitude, new grids versus old and time, thus giving you an overall outlook of life’s journey. Best of all, the app is free!

Shadow App
It’s safe to say that I fall within the 95 percentile of people whom if they don’t write down their dreams, they forget them as soon as they wake up. I never write them down, so that’s where the Shadow app comes into play. As dreams fade throughout the day, the ability for them becoming a reality fade away with them. So, the co-founders of the app – Hunter Lee Soik and Jason Carvalho – are setting out to capture a world of dreams one person at a time. It all starts off with the escalating alarms that gradually transition you from your hypnopompic state from sleeping to waking, then you can type, speak, or answer a few questions to record your dream as soon as you wake up and Shadow will contextualize your dream themes within society and culture. Let others in the world-wide community evaluate your dreams by sharing your content, explore other people’s dreams, and after a few weeks of dreaming you might notice common patterns and themes that occur throughout the world. You never know, some of those questions might turn into answers. Are you ready?

12 Minute Athlete App
Going to the gym is definitely a task in itself. Nobody wants to go and spend 3 hours there just to get in the right work out. Unless of course, you’re the guy who talks to people for 30 minutes in between sets, download the 12 Minute Athlete app. It does just what it says by providing you with high intensity workouts focusing on strength, cardio, interval and core training, all of which can be done in about 12 minutes and with easily accessible equipment. You’ll be able to choose from over 185 different workouts, so repetitiveness won’t lead you to being bored, and being bored won’t lead you to stop going to the gym. I guess going to the gym before work just became less of a hassle (not).

Studio App
We’ve all got a little bit of an artistic side, it showed when Instagram came out, now all of a sudden everybody thinks they’re a professional photographer. With the Studio app for your iPhone, you can now pave your road to being the next big graphic designer. It moves into a Photoshop aspect by utilizing layers, but with less of a navigation hassle. You’ll first choose your base photo, then you can add another layer and mess around with their included shapes, frames, textures, mantras, crops and several other offerings. A unique feature in “Reuse” allows you to reuse someone else’s design, but not their photo, giving you design freedom at its finest. When you’re done with your creation, publish it andshow it off across social platforms, and let your friends “like” away.

Picturelife
This past week my mom’s iPhone took a dump on her and decided it didn’t want to turn on anymore. We took it to Apple, they couldn’t fix it, they gave us a few options, so we contemplated the next move. The whole time my mom was pretty much concerned about her pictures that she had on the phone rather than the $200+ she was going to have to pay for a “re-manufactured” phone. Her iCloud had been filled a very long time ago, so every picture she took after that was gone. Now that I’ve come across Picturelife, my recommendation to her and to you couldn’t be any stronger. I know iPhoneographers would appreciate this because losing irreplaceable photos is a definite heartbreak, so Picturelife is giving you an alternative to the confusing iCloud. Download the application onto your computer to back up your computer photos, download the mobile app to instantly back up mobile photos and video, then access them anytime through an internet browser or mobile device. There are three different storage plans to fit your personal needs, so you’ll never have to worry about losing your most valuable photos again, mother.

Mynd Calendar App
We’ve discovered that having a calendar app is crucial to our daily, weekly and monthly routines. That boring stock calendar app isn’t the most exciting thing to look at so we’ve turned to the Mynd calendar app for our scheduling needs. What makes it extra great is that it works together with your existing calendar apps and contacts. It also features a unique home screen that gives a summary of your day, with photos, weather, and stats on how you spend your time, integration with the most popular navigation apps to calculate drive times and alert you when you need to leave so you won’t hit traffic on your next route. If you do happen to hit traffic on the way to your next meeting, no need to worry, all you have to do is hit the “late” button and it will notify your colleagues of your tardiness.
