Kennedy App

KENNEDY-APP-00

Documenting your life has certainly become less of a hassle thanks to our dependency on the digital world. But, nothing is making it easier than the new Kennedy app for your iPhone. Derived from the question, “Where were you when Kennedy was shot?”, the creators wanted to take it to another level by letting you document your everyday life. With a simple tap of your screen, Kennedy will capture “layers” of a moment by including location, date, time, weather conditions and latest news headlines together with the music you were listening to at that particular moment. It’s then archived by the day, leaving behind a time capsule of sort of your day-by-day life.

Samplify App

Samplify-App-00

You probably notice that we favor iOS over Android, we decided to switch it up a bit and make you aware of an Android-only app called Samplify. This newly released app works in a Shazaam like way by identifying the song with a “tap to listen” button and in turn delivers artist information along with the song name. However, it doesn’t stop there. If the song contains a sample(s), it will identify the artist and song name in which the sample originated from. It will then provide a YouTube link so you can get the full effect of the original song. The company is taking requests to get an iOS app built, so if you aren’t an Android person, but want this app, we suggest you put in your request.

Beats Music

beats-music-01

After much anticipation Beats Music has finally dropped and it looks pretty bad ass. Pandora, Spotify and Rdio should all be shakin’ in their boots right now, because this is one of the cleanest music platforms we’ve seen. It all starts with tapping your favorite genre, double-tap if you love it (or hold it down for your least favorite), it then gathers a mix of albums and playlists handpicked by music experts to fit your needs. A standout feature is “The Sentence,” which lets you tell the app where you are, what you’re feeling and who you’re with to serve up a unique stream of music for your occasion. Music news, finding the perfect music via genre, activities or curators, and sharing the music you are listening to are also features you won’t be able to live without. And its all made possible the doctor himself.

Wibbitz

Wibbitz-App-00

Constantly reading content on your mobile device can go through one eye and out of the other. Heck, I’m no doctor but spending too much time on it can possibly be bad for your vision too. I mean let’s face it, some of us are visual learners, and that’s where the new Wibbitz app comes in. It’s a very simple concept to say the least – Wibbitz turns the most important content from your favorite articles into full on video summaries by adding photos with a clean and minimalistic approach, which in turn makes it a lot easier to read and comprehend. Simply add your favorite news sources, arrange your feeds in the order you want and you might just save your eyes from popping out of your head. That probably won’t happen, so try not to take it too serious. Oh, and if you do feel like reading that day, simply swipe up while watching the video and the article text will appear.

Climate Clock

Climate-Clock-App-00

We’ve seen several iOS weather apps try to simplify your life, but the Climate Clock app simply has something that others don’t, and that’s displaying the temperature on your home screen. I honestly despise having to open up the stock iOS weather app, only to have it open up to a totally different city, then scrolling through all the places you’ve added just to find your current city. By putting the temperature at the corner of the apps icon, I PRAISE YOU Climate Clock. But, the minimalist design of this app also makes me want to open it up and check out the combined hourly weather and analog clock that displays the forecast for every hour of the day, along with the time. In my eyes I think this is unbeatable, but if you think you’ve got something better, then by all means send it our way.
