Instagram Launches for Android

It has finally happened. Today Instagram has launched for all of you faithful Android users out there. Since its launch, Instagram has widely been known as an iPhone only application giving Apple users bragging rights to it. Now the revolution will carry on through the Android system and millions more of those filtered photos will flood your feed. The app is available through Google Play today so lets see if you Android users have the same eye as an iPhone user.

Zaarly App

It’s pretty much as simple as it sounds – with the Zaarly app you can buy and sell anything with people nearby. Pretty much another genius idea coming out of the tech world and especially the world of APPS. We all know the Craigslist killer won’t be a problem when using this app so why not download it and try it out for a low-cost of FREE! After all we know you have tons of junk you need to get rid of so get on your beloved iOS or Android device and post away.

Square Card Case

This could be good or when you’re out at your favorite bar and the next morning you wake up and check your account it could lead to bad. But I guess if you wake up next to a fine philly, it would be alright. The Square Card Case is a beautiful iOS/Android app. that lets you use your name to pay at local spots using the company’s system, and letting you create tabs at the establishments, which automatically open upon your arrival so the workers will know who you are and what you order. One step closer to tossing that bulky wallet of yours.

HTC Flyer

Today is the start of our technology posts! We would have loved to start it off with an Apple product, but hey what can you do. I think this is as close as we will get. From the Mobile World Conference, being held right now in Barcelona, Spain, comes a preview of the latest Android tablet, the all-new HTC Flyer. The 7-inch device boasts a 1024 x 600 LCD screen, 1.5GHz processor, HSPA+ connectivity and a 1.3MP camera on the front with another 5MP one mounted on the back. New software features also include SRS Surround Sound, “Scribe technology” that recognizes handwriting, and OnLive, the cloud-based game streaming service. The tablet will be available for purchase worldwide sometime in early 2011.
