Akomplice 2014 Spring Collection

We’ve seen numerous streetwear brands come and go, but for very good reason Akomplice has been one to stick around through the ever-changing industry of fashion. The new Akomplice 2014 Spring Collection is another collection we deem a success. With a nice set of tie dye t-shirts, along with their “Mancha” t-shirts the collection stands out from most of the Spring collections we’ve seen thus far. They’ve also included a few new caps, beanies, bucket hat and they also brought back their pocket watch, but this time in a gun metal finish. Akomplice 2013 Fall Collection

We’ve been inspired by Akomplice ever since our introduction to them back when the Agenda Tradeshow was still in San Diego. Ever since then we haven’t let a single collection cross our paths without mentioning it to our friends or posting it on the site. With the release of the Akomplice 2013 Fall Collection, it doesn’t look like we’ll be stopping anytime soon. They’ve included two capsule collections within the fall 1 delivery consisting of the floral line and the Libertas Series. Their newest Libertas Series is a standout due to the controversial graphics that are included with it. You’ll find blood diamonds being mined in front of a 20-carat billboard, and a nudist being arrested in front of a classical nude painting.You’ll also find updated versions of the patchwork pocket tee and tank, as well as a two-tone belt and vintage inspired baseball jersey that is also a stand-out item. Akomplice Magic Plant Capsule Collection

Applying a particular concept to a clothing line isn’t the easiest of tasks. Somehow, Akomplice always seems to come up with the most original concepts and product in the streetwear industry. Take this new release for instance. A capsule collection, Akomplice takes a scientific approach with a botanic twist in the form of the Magic Plant Series. Inspired by psychedelic plants, each item within the collection is individually hang-tagged with a botany handbook, illustrating the genus and species of each of these plants. The collection is composed of t-shirts, crewneck pullovers, floral field jackets, 5-panel hats and even a skate deck.  Not only are you getting quality clothing here but you’re also being educated through the clothing you choose to wear.

Akomplice 2012 Holiday Collection

We are always anticipating the next collection from Akomplice Clothing. A true streetwear pioneer that shows pride and quality in all of their pieces and the release of their Holiday 2012 collection shows just that. David Flores x Akomplice Fall 2012 Collection

Akomplice hits us with another classic collection in conjunction with David Flores for the 2012 Fall season. Comprised of select, renowned, Flores designs that you may recognize, as well as an exclusive new graphic entitled J’63. We also see the series of tees paying homage to old rockstars , Phantoms and your favorite childhood character – Winnie the Pooh. Akomplice 2012 Summer Lookbooks – Colombia & Brazil

California-based brand Akomplice has presented us with two great lookbooks for Summer 2012. Traveling to South America the owners of Akomplice – Patrick Liberty and Mike Smalls parted to two separate destinations. Mike stopped in Florianopolis in southern Brazil for a few weeks and shot a lookbook, while Patrick toured through Colombia and chose Medellin as his final destination to put his vision into reality. It’s a great look into how each owner creates. As you can see by comparing both lookbooks that both men have their own unique vision, but that difference is what makes Akomplice what it is today. They didn’t travel alone though – bringing along a few buddies for both shoots whom you will see throughout the lookbooks. Check both of the lookbooks after the jump.

Akomplice 2012 Summer Collection

California-based brand Akomplice has recently dropped a loaded 2012 summer collection. With a nice range of tank-tops along with tees, snapbacks, caps, chambray button-ups, patterned shorts and a beautiful range of accessories. A stand-out item for the season is the Akomplice Wheat Paste Kit which will help put up your street art in your local city. Overall, a solid line from the Santa Barbara crew that you can pick up at your local stockist.

Akomplice x MF Doom T-Shirt Collection

Akomplice and MF Doom link up again to bring us a new t-shirt and crewneck collaboration. Consisting of the same mask design we have seen in the past, but this time it receives a camo makeover in all sorts of colors. The gear will be available at the Akomplice web store beginning on April 7 so don’t miss out.

Akomplice Spring 2012 Lookbook

With much anticipation from me and probably you as well, we present to you the Akomplice Spring 2012 lookbook. As seen in the photos the lookbook takes you on a journey through Lob City (Los Angeles) as Akomplice makes a surprise visit to a list of retailers in the area and captured them in the act. There mission took them through most of L.A. hitting up Santa Monica (Conveyor @ Fred Segal), West LA (Black Market LA), Silverlake (X-Large Store), Melrose Ave (Brooklyn Projects), and Burbank (Backside). With many highlights below – stay tuned as we hope to have a closer look at the garments very soon.
