Orisue | Summer 2011 | Lookbook

We have frequently been following this brand for a few years now and to have watched them steadily grow into a full-fledged clothing company from just a few t-shirts is very inspiring. Although this is our first post about Orisue we feel it is perfect – as the lookbook was shot at the Salton Sea about 30 miles away from the small town (El Centro) where Direkt Concept was officially born. There are several unique pieces such as the Arnaud Shorts and Morsey Henley as Orisue has been known to always add that extra twist to their clothing. We are a bit late on this one but its worth it!

Imaginary Foundation – The Undivided Mind Gallery

The right side of the brain is responsible for emotions and intuition, the left for logic and reason. Yet the notion of two brains gives rise to the function of one mind. Perhaps it is this one “undivided mind” that presents a way forward through the monumental cultural changes we now face, enabling us to surf this dynamic moment in history from a platform of balance and symmetry.

The think tank company Imaginary Foundation has recently put up a virtual simulacrum of the installation that materialized in November of 2010 in San Francisco, CA. The installation looks to fuse the beauty of art and science in order to create a connection between the two subjects.

The virtual gallery is a must see! View HERE
