Technology is increasingly becoming smarter than a human and we’re witnessing it with our very own eyes as the Ninja Sphere is set to become a reality. It learns about you, your environment and uses the data gathered using sensors and actuators to build a model about the things and habits around you. Place it in your home and it will monitor temperature, lighting, energy usage, you and your pets’ presence, and anything else that you can possibly connect to the sphere. If something just doesn’t seem right, it will intelligently alert you through a variety of different platforms depending on your location. Currently, the sphere supports an array of devices and contains an open source platform so anybody can write and share a driver to connect a device to your sphere.
