Well we’d have to say its about time someone stepped up to the plate and made smart sunglasses. ION Glasses are the first-ever glasses – optical or sunglasses – that interact with your smartphone or tablet. They are made to offer several functions like notifications, remote control, alerts in case of loss or theft and more. Customization is also possible by choosing a color notification code that only you can see, and you’ll also be able to customize the ION logo on your glasses with whatever light color you wish – or turn off the logo if you just aren’t feeling it that day. It features Bluetooth 4.0, a rechargeable battery through micro USB, a buzzer, two buttons with each component being inserted into the right temple of the frame for easy access. The glasses are made of a material they call plastic titanium and are available through Indiegogo.
