We all know about the big names in See’s, Godiva and Ghirardelli, but I could probably bet my last dollar that you’ve never heard of, or tried Seattle-based Fran’s Chocolates. We were lucky enough to pay this boutique chocolate maker a visit while we were in Seattle, Washington this past week and we haven’t stopped drooling since. They’re most famous for their Gray and Smoked Salt Caramel – Gray being their version of dark chocolate and Smoked being their version of milk chocolate. Since we are all suckers for sweet and salty we guarantee you will not be disappointed with the rich, soft, and buttery texture that these chocolates possess. Your mouth will literally be watering for an extended period of time after the first bite – trust us. To top it off, all of their chocolates are made with organic ingredients, so it won’t make you feel as bad come “cheat day.” If you’re ever in the Seattle area we highly suggest you stop by one of their three locations or if Seattle isn’t in your near future, you can get them through this little thing we like to call “online ordering.”
