Remember the SkateBack we posted back in the day? Yeah we thought so. Well, Grove, in a collaboration with MapleXO has hit us with this sick SkateCase for your iPhone 5. The all wood case is cut and crafted from a recycled solid block of skateboard material, in a process that laminates various wood strips together to create a sustainable and one-of-a-kind product. After that’s all said and done, fine details are expertly filled down by hand, then sanded, polished and carefully oiled to reveal the vibrant colors within the wood. Each phone case gets strengthened with a solid surface material core (available in black or white) that’s then laminated to the recycled skateboard exterior. Best of all though, is that it’s made right here in the USA.
