Well, it has finally arrived – what we have all been waiting for, but we just don’t know it yet. Today, Google announced its latest co-branded product, the Chromebook. Teaming up with Samsung and Acer on hardware, the Chromebook fully embodies the notion of working in the cloud. This means files are kept solely online rather than offline, so losing or damaging your Chromebook shouldn’t be an issue. The Chromebook provides automated updates and no need for virus protection.

A release in select countries is set for June 15.
